The Challenge
After the purchase of their triplex, our clients’ generic existing roof terraces produced nothing but leaks to their apartment below. This led us to envision the possibilities of what these roof terraces could become. We brought in a team to install new roofing and designed and built a series of roof terraces with dining, a bar/barbecue station and a fire pit with a comfortable seating group. We added a spa hot tub with chaise lounges for lazy days and collaborated with a lighting designer for entertaining. We worked with a landscaper to provide lush planting to soften the hard edges and shading to keep the terrace cool on hot summer days.
