The Challenge
Transform an early postwar apartment for a repeat client’s pied-à-terre into a modern home, taking advantage of the city views and our client’s unique lifestyle. We took an untouched 1959 estate-condition apartment and transformed it into a modern, open home. A redesigned layout features a true Head of Household Suite with His and Her Baths. We opened the Living and Dining areas and exposed the unique North to South city views. The Kitchen, Dining, and Media areas were unified, opened up into one fluid, thoughtfully organized space. Refined materials and precision detailing elevate the entire residence, completing the composition of the apartment.
